Catina Hancock has spent more than thirty years in K–12 public education. She began as a classroom teacher, served as a school principal for close to a decade, and is now a partner at Learner-Centered Collaborative.
As principal, she led Vista Academy of Visual and Performing Arts to three state recognitions in a single year — the kind of result that comes from putting relationships and high expectations in the same room.
She lives in San Marcos, CA with her husband Chris and their two adult children, who remain her favorite proof that raising good humans is long, ordinary, worthwhile work.
